Description:

Annular blowout preventer 


Features:

Used in conjunction with hydraulic control system, the annular BOP seals off the annulus of different sizes when pipes are in use in the hole. An annular BOP can also seal off the annular space which is formed by Kelly, coring tool, cables, wire rope etc. and wellbore when no pipe is in it.

 

Classify:

The annular blowout preventer is divided into the Taper rubber core and Ball rubber core according to the structure of the rubber core.

Ram BOP

Description:

The ram BOP is designed to seal off the tubular annulus or the well. With the ram BOP in the closed position, such operation as circulating drilling fluid, re-leasing pressure and killing the well can be special circumstances; the ram BOP can shear the pipe in the hole to seal off the well. If the ram BOP has variable bore rams, it can seal off the annular space between the casing and pipes whose sizes are at the mini-mum and maximum of the ram’s range. 

 

Applications:

The Ram BOP is an integral part of well control equipment, featuring flexible closings and openings, easy operation, safe service and simple maintenance.

 

Features:

Both the design and manufacture of the u-type bop with the ram block meet the requirement of API Spec 16A and GB/T20174 drilling and oil-production equipment. And all u-type bops are provided with the ram block of various sizes.
It consists of a high-grade front-positioned rubber core and another rubber core on the top, which, together with the in-between flange, enables the bop to work in extreme circumstances such as at extremely high or low temperature, or under acidic conditions.
