Stabilizer  Description:


Stabilizer is a piece of downhole equipment used in the bottom hole assembly (BHA) of a drill string. It mechanically stabilizes the BHA in the borehole in order to avoid unintentional sidetracking, vibrations, and ensure the quality of the hole being drilled.

It is composed of a hollow cylindrical body and stabilizing blades, both made of high-strength steel. The blades can be either straight or spiralled, and are hardfaced for wear resistance.

Material: AISI 4145 H, AISI 4145 H MOD, Non-mag material, 4330V

Specification: OD of bit: 6”~42”

Connection: IF, REG, FH etc

Type: Integral Spiral Blade Stabilizer; Integral Straight Blade Stabilizer; Non-Magnet Integral Blade Stabilizer; Replaceable Sleeve Stabilizer.


Hardfacing of Stabilizer: HF1000, HF2000, HF3000, HF4000, HF5000, HF6000.

Crushed tungsten carbide held in a nickel bronze matrix. The 3mm grain size ensures greater concentration of carbide which is ideal for drilling soft formation.


HF 2000

Trapezoidal tungsten carbide inserts held in a sintered carbide nickel bronze matrix. This will give a great depth of carbide coverage-ideal for high deviation drilling in abrasive formations.



HF3000

Trapezoidal tungsten carbide inserts held in a sintered carbide nickel bronze matrix. This will give a great depth of carbide coverage-ideal for high deviation drilling in abrasive formations.




HF4000

Trapezoidal tungsten carbide inserts held in a sintered carbide nickel bronze matrix. This will give a great depth of carbide coverage-ideal for high deviation drilling in abrasive formations.



HF5000
